From inspection…
Our service engineers will inspect the thrusters to check for damage or wear. This includes a full inspection of backlash and tooth patterns, bearing clearances, and the propeller blade and shaft seals. For azimuth thrusters, this also involves a pressure test of the intermediate section. -
…to the full overhaul
Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we’ll get on with the full thruster overhaul. This will include disassembly and checking, verifying, and measuring the parts. After this is complete, we will also take care of any machining or conditioning required. -
Machining or conditioning
We will also take care of any machining or conditioning required. Once all the thruster parts have been serviced, we’ll reassemble everything and perform a pressure test or functional test as appropriate. -
Warranty
We provide a 6-month warranty on propulsion services according our to our warranty terms.
